"Vigne," meaning "grapevine" in French, is a captivating platter. Boldly depicting grape clusters, canes, and shoots, its unique oval-diamond shape enhances the beauty of the grapevine painting. This interplay elevates everyday dining to a special occasion.
Antique European plates with beautiful landscapes, plants and animals are calming and full of kindness.
Vigne was started with the idea of making such beautiful and elegant tableware available on modern tables.
The design is inspired by strong, healthy grapes with thin branches that are bent and bearing fruit.
The grape branches, fruit, and outstretched vines are boldly arranged to enhance the food and design.
The painting is done using copperplate transfer printing, a method in which a design printed on paper is pasted onto the dish to transfer it.
The hand-pasting process creates wrinkles, fading, and bleeding, creating an expressive grape design that exudes softness, gentleness, and vitality.
It comes in two colors, blue and brown.
The pattern on the pale, grayish fabric creates a more subdued tone, giving it a unique look.
The diamond-shaped tips are rounded and the edges are gently undulating, giving the plate an elegant and sophisticated feel.
The gently rising shapes on all four sides also accentuate the overall appearance.
The L plate has just the right depth and can be used as a serving plate for escabeche, caprese, fruit, etc.,
while the S plate can be used as a small plate for individual side dishes, salads, and other dishes.
It is also recommended to arrange baked goods such as financiers on the plate during tea time.
Please experience the decorative plates, which are only complete when you serve food on them, and the space on your table.
