Elevate your Japanese tea ceremony with the truly unique Hatsuichi Japan Tsubo Violet Chawan Matcha Bowl. This exquisite bowl is a proud example of the renowned Minoware pottery tradition, originating from Gifu Prefecture, Japan, celebrated for its diverse forms and innovative glazes.

The bowl features a captivating "Tsubo Violet" glaze, which translates to a "pot/jar violet" – hinting at a deep, organic, and often mottled purple that can range from darker plums to lighter lavenders, creating a rich and varied texture. The beauty of this glaze lies in its individuality; each piece is handcrafted, resulting in subtle differences in colour intensity and pattern, ensuring that your chawan is truly one-of-a-kind.

Designed with both aesthetic appeal and practical use in mind, this chawan's traditional shape provides an ideal vessel for whisking matcha. Its balanced weight and comfortable grip allow for efficient and smooth preparation with a bamboo chasen, ensuring a perfect froth.

Hand-finished by skilled artisans, this Hatsuichi chawan embodies centuries of Japanese ceramic heritage, offering a harmonious blend of artistic integrity and practical design. It is an indispensable piece for any matcha enthusiast seeking to deepen their appreciation for authentic Japanese tea culture and the profound beauty of unique handcrafted ceramics.
